New Summer menu

The seasons are changing even if it slow! With the warmer weather we are changing our a la carte menu this week.

The new summer menu features some old favourites like our beef curry and rich brownies.

A beautiful new addition is Jacob's Ladder; a flat beef rib that's been slowly roasted so the meat falls off the bone! Very meaty and succulent compared to pork ribs.

Our baked cheese cake is surprisingly light and refreshing with passion fruit and mango topping. Something you just have to try!

Renovations at Richy's

Having been flooded three times in the last 12 months it was time to give Richy's Restaurant and the RCafe a new lease of life!

January 2013 we closed for nearly two weeks to make some extensive renovations.

The wooden floors were removed and replaced with new waterproof flooring.

The restaurant side was completely gutted and the bar counter was changed to another wall. We also changed the old fire place into an insert fireplace.

The heat from the fire is directed to the room with a fan and the whole room warms up quickly! It also adds to the lovely atmosphere.

The restaurant was painted and the toilets renovated. It looks completely different now! We all felt it was time for a change and it does feel like a brand new restaurant.

We also added a pizza oven in the kitchen. Now we are able to offer more variety in our menus with beautiful thin crust pizzas and homemade focaccia breads.

We are all looking forward to welcome you to our "new" restaurant !

Clonakilty Jungle City

Jungle City came to Clonakilty in the beginning of the summer and has been a huge success.Tourist and locals love trailing the animals around the town.We have our own Crock on the wall, come and see!

Richy's is 10 Years old in May 2012

Richy's turned 10 years old on 9th of May 2012!

On our official birthday we had a party for everybody enjoying dishes from the last ten years.

Huge thank you for friends, family, customers and members of the Richy's team! Here's for the next ten!!

R Cafe at Richy's

After a couple of hectic weeks R Cafe was opened in mid July 2011!

One side of Richy's Bar and Bistro was changed into RCafe; lunchtime venue offering all home made cakes, pastries,

fresh bread baked daily, quiches etc, and of course great coffee!
